About Euro Relief

Euro Relief is a British charitable and development organisation working to respond to humanitarian needs and to strengthen the prospects of recovery and self-reliance. We pay particular attention to refugees, displaced people and the most vulnerable groups, and to Palestinian communities in Palestine, in countries of refuge and across the diaspora.

We follow an integrated approach that connects humanitarian relief, early recovery, economic empowerment, education and training, and community development — with the aim of moving the people we serve from meeting urgent needs towards self-reliance and a more stable, dignified future. Our programmes are delivered in partnership with local and international institutions and relevant authorities, in line with humanitarian principles and standards of transparency and accountability.

Our story

Euro Relief was launched in May 2018, coinciding with the seventieth anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba, on the initiative of a group of descendants of displaced and expatriate Palestinians together with a number of people committed to humanitarian work. The aim was to ease the suffering of refugees and those in need, and to strengthen their capacity to face difficult humanitarian and economic conditions.

Since its founding, the organisation has held to a vision that combines direct humanitarian response with long-term development solutions. Assistance does not stop at meeting urgent needs: it extends to building capacity, creating job opportunities, supporting livelihoods, and empowering individuals and communities.

More resilient communities, in which refugees, displaced people and the most vulnerable enjoy dignity, opportunity and the ability to build a safe, stable and independent life — while preserving the human, social and cultural ties of the Palestinian people wherever they are.

Our mission

We work with individuals, communities and partners to meet humanitarian needs, strengthen resilience, and open up opportunities for learning, work and self-reliance — through sustainable humanitarian and development programmes founded on actual need and delivered to the highest standards of professionalism, transparency and accountability.

Where we work

Our work is not confined to one geographic area. We deliver programmes wherever there are humanitarian needs or genuine opportunities for development, giving particular priority to Palestinian communities in Palestine, in countries of refuge and across the diaspora.

Euro Relief is registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales, charity number 1197389, as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (Association model), registered on 7 January 2022.
